Pray Daniel 10:12 for 2014. First “do not be afraid”. Don’t let fear stop you from responding to or daring to approach God. Dare to draw near to God and hear His voice. Nothing is easy about encountering God’s glory, but oh the rewards! Live a Daniel life; out there and exposed to God’s glory. It will quicken every nerve ending. It will not be a pain free life and it’s not the safe at a distance life, but it is a life most alive and abundant! Pray for a Daniel life, free from fear and bold enough to approach the one who loves you the most, God! (most of this came out of Beth Moore’s Daniel study.) Second “set your mind”. Pray to “set our mind on things above, not on earthly things” Col 3:2. Pray not to remain double minded and half hearted with our beliefs. Pray to make up our minds, to cease wavering back and forth and blending into our environments. Pray today; I’ve made up my mind, Lord. I’m in and in I’ll stay.
